Terms of Service

1. What TAO.BOT is

TAO.BOT is an interface for exploring the Bittensor network and interacting with the Bittensor blockchain. It is operated by the TAO.BOT team. Through the app you can browse subnet, validator, and market data, stake TAO, swap subnet tokens, and manage your positions.

TAO.BOT is non-custodial. Every blockchain transaction you make is built in the app but signed by you, in your own wallet. Your private keys never leave your wallet and are never sent to, seen by, or stored by TAO.BOT. Some platform features (such as sign-in and aggregated data) route through APIs operated by the TAO.BOT team.

2. Accepting these terms

By using TAO.BOT you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use TAO.BOT. You are responsible for making sure that your use of the service, and of crypto assets generally, is legal where you live. Do not use the service if the law that applies to you prohibits it.

4. Your wallet, your responsibility

You are solely responsible for your wallet, your seed phrase, and every transaction you sign. Blockchain transactions are final: once a staking, swap, or transfer transaction is included on chain, neither you nor the TAO.BOT team can reverse it. Always review the details of a transaction in your wallet before signing.

5. No financial advice

Nothing on TAO.BOT is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Prices, yields, APY figures, rankings, charts, and any other data shown in the app are provided for information only. We do not recommend any subnet, validator, token, or strategy. Do your own research and consider speaking to a qualified professional before making decisions.

6. Risks

Using Bittensor and crypto assets involves significant risk, including:

• Volatility: token prices, including TAO and subnet tokens, can change rapidly and you can lose some or all of the value you put in.
• On-chain finality: signed transactions cannot be undone, refunded, or recovered by anyone, including us.
• Protocol risk: Bittensor and the subnets built on it are evolving software; network upgrades, bugs, or parameter changes can affect your stake, yields, or token value.
• Availability: the blockchain, third-party RPC nodes, or the TAO.BOT interface itself may be slow or unavailable at times.

Only use funds you can afford to lose. You accept these risks when you use the service.

7. Data accuracy

The data shown in TAO.BOT is aggregated from the Bittensor blockchain and from third-party sources, and is processed by our own indexing services. It may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors, and historical or estimated figures (such as APY) may not reflect future results. We make no warranty that any displayed data is accurate, complete, or current, and you should verify anything important against the chain itself before relying on it.

8. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• use the service for any unlawful purpose, including fraud, money laundering, or evading sanctions;
• abuse the TAO.BOT APIs, for example by scraping at disruptive rates, circumventing rate limits, or attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service;
• interfere with other users’ use of the service;
• misrepresent your affiliation with the TAO.BOT team.

We may block or limit access to the interface or the APIs to protect the service or its users.

9. No warranty and limitation of liability

TAO.BOT is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the TAO.BOT team is not liable for any losses or damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of funds, loss of profits, or losses caused by inaccurate data, downtime, blockchain behavior, wallet software, or third-party services.

10. Changes to the service and these terms

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, without notice. We may also update these terms; when we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
